Our Curated Ingredients

What we included and what we kept out!
From day one, we knew hyaluronic acid would be our hero ingredient. Its proven powerful hydrating properties made it the perfect foundation for a moisturiser designed specifically for the delicate vulval skin.
Our goal was simple—but not easy: create a formula that enhanced moisture without disrupting the skin’s natural balance or compromising comfort.
After countless rounds of formulation, testing, and refinement, we moved steadily closer to a product that truly worked. Science guided us with what to include and, just as importantly, what to exclude.
Here’s what made the cut—and what didn’t:
- No to olive oil – Though natural, we avoided it due to its potential to clog pores, cause irritation, and promote thrush. Our deep dive into the research pointed us toward sunflower oil as a gentler, non-comedogenic (non-clogging) alternative.
- Yes to vitamin E and shea butter – chosen for their skin-conditioning, barrier-supporting, and antioxidant properties.
- No to artificial colours or fragrances – because intimate skin doesn’t need unnecessary irritants.
- No to parabens, alcohols, or harsh preservatives – which is why our preservative is non-alcoholic.
- Absolutely No to propylene glycol, a common irritant still found in many intimate products.
- Optimised pH to support the natural genital environment – Our formula is pH-balanced to align with the healthy pH of the vulval and vaginal area, helping maintain comfort and reduce the risk of irritation.
Eventually, we landed on a formula we could be genuinely proud of: a minimal, effective ingredient list, free from unnecessary additives—just what your skin needs, and nothing it doesn’t.
This isn’t just another skincare product. It’s the result of thoughtful choices, real-world concerns, and a deep respect for the body’s natural balance.
